Who we are
Shared Planet Ltd (“we”, “us”) is a waste reduction consultancy registered in England and Wales (No. 12089955). Our registered office address is listed on our contact page. For any privacy matter, contact services@sharedplanet.uk.
What we collect
Enquiry data. When you contact us — by form, email or phone — we keep your name, contact details and the content of your message, so we can answer you and keep a record of the engagement.
Client operational data. During reviews we process business information you share with us on purpose: purchase records, waste and recycling arrangements, site photos and process notes. You remain in control of that material; we use it only to deliver the review, plan and support you asked for, under the access rules agreed in the scope.
Technical data. Our website sets strictly necessary cookies only, unless you accept optional analytics cookies via the consent card. See the cookie notice for details.
Why we can use it
Enquiry data: to respond to you and, if we work together, to perform the engagement. Client operational data: to deliver the consultancy services your business has asked us to perform. Nothing is used for advertising, and we do not sell data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months if no engagement follows. Engagement records: for the duration of the engagement plus the retention period agreed in the scope, so records are returned or deleted cleanly at the end.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of this, email services@sharedplanet.uk. If you are in the UK and unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Payments and refunds
No payment is taken through this website. Where a booked stage is cancelled under our Terms of Service, any refund due is returned to the original payment method. We keep only the payment records needed to process such a refund and to meet our accounting obligations.
Where data lives
Working files are kept in access-controlled cloud storage within agreed locations; paper originals, where they exist, are held securely and returned on request. We do not transfer your business data outside the arrangements agreed in the scope.
